As a born Portlander, I look for businesses that have a track record in the local area for great results over time. I know that more than advertising, their future lies in satisfied customers and a market reputation that is brand solid. PP&R fits that model. And they exceeded my expectations. First, they listened to our needs. Second, they delivered a competitive bid that included solutions we hadn't considered. Third, I can;t say enough for the crew. All of the team members we met (and I think we met them all!) were professional, thoughtful and considerate. All along, it was clear our happiness was their goal. I cannot recommend PP&R highly enough.

Portland Painting and Restoration came to my rescue after a disastrous experience with a remodeling company which ruined three elegant doors, parts of the old oak flooring, and a interior wall and staircase. Out of four bids, PPR gave me the most detailed quote and was the only company that seemed confident they could bring my home back to its original beauty. Not only did they more than meet my expectations, every one of the employees were specialized in their areas of expertise and a complete delight to work with. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Wow, what a great experience we had with Portland Painting and Restoration. It was night and day from a previous company that we used. Alex, the project manager and estimator is an absolute pro. He is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and most of all, a fun guy to work with. Communication was top notch. Lexi kept us up to date on the project, and was really nice to work with. Our storm windows were painted perfectly. They were painted in the shop and so the finish was flawless. Robert, the painter, was incredibly nice, and he came out on the delivery day and hand touched up anything he noticed before he left. We were so happy with how the storm windows turned out, that Alex is already working on another project for us. We will be trusting Portland Painting and Restoration with all of our future painting needs, inside and out.

Best decision we've ever made for our home - going with the crew from Portland Painting & Restoration! Skilled, professional, personable, reliable. They coordinated carpentry work to remove multiple areas of dry rot, rebuild our front-stair railing to be more in line with our house's architecture, and renovate our aging back deck. They also connected us with a lovely color designer. We couldn't be more pleased!

So extremely happy with PPR's work! They painted the entire exterior of my 1920s craftsman and did all the leg work to coordinate with the lead paint removal company as well. We encountered some challenges along the way, but the team was communicative and professional throughout (shout-out to Alex, Abe, and Lexi!), and did an outstanding paint job to boot! They really brought my craftsman back to life. I can't thank them enough. If you're considering any paint and restoration, I highly recommend PPR!
